📢 On 22 July 2025, the ANR launched the Charcot’s Disease – ALS Call for Proposals.
This RFP aims to support interdisciplinary collaborative projects focused on five major themes encompassing preonset signs, underlying pathophysiological mechanisms, the identification of biomarkers for early diagnosis and prognosis, the development of new therapeutic strategies, and patient stratification to characterise clinical subgroups. The RFP also includes the implementation of results in clinical practice, while clinical trials and cohort formation are excluded.
Consortia for this call must include at least two partners, one of which must be a “research organisation or equivalent” entity. International research teams are allowed but must be self-funded.
Projects must not exceed 60 months with a maximum budget of €500,000.
📅 The submission deadline for pre-proposals is 10 September 2025, and the submission deadline for full applications is 22 October 2025. Results will be announced at the end of the year.
