I will help you create a timeline for the overall process and break it down into manageable steps. I can help you identify the objectives of your project as well as the right partners and collaborators to include. I can also provide support with the writing of your proposal from high level structure, paragraph organisation and logical flow to editing and proofreading. I can also coordinate with your organisation and collaborators to facilitate budget preparation and collect documents required by funding organisations.
Project management
I support teams with project initiation and management of new or existing research projects. I can provide ongoing administrative support which spans across organising meetings and taking minutes, facilitating the hiring process and reporting, budget tracking, etc. I can also support you in your engagement and communication activities with end users, government departments, stake holders etc.
Editing
Publications must be impeccable to be published in high-profile and high impact journals. In return those publications can facilitate promotion, international recognition and successful funding applications. A well-edited and written publication can also streamline the process with reviewers and publishers.
Our current rate for editing is 0.04 € per word for our Basic Editing Services and 0.05 € per word for our Advanced Editing Services. A minimum charge of €50 will apply for small texts to cover administrative overheads. Turnaround times depend on the level of editing required. We do recommend that you do not wait until a few days before your deadline to contact us as it is very unlikely we will be able to accommodate your request on such a short timeframe. You are however most welcome to book our services in advance if you are aware of an upcoming deadline.
Basic Editing services: proofreading and checking structure, spelling, grammar, consistency in tense and terminology. Turnaround times of around 2 to 3 days, depending on word count.
Advanced Editing Services: higher level of editing which includes our Basic Editing Service as well as eliminating jargon, rewriting sentences and reorganising text to improve clarity. Turnaround times of around 3 to 4 days, depending on word count.
Our services do not include:
- Translation – we revise and edit texts already in English
- Writing new text or the article
- Creating figures and/or tables
- Creating and/or formatting the reference list
